The 23rd Universal Postal
Congress organized by the romanian Government
and Posta Romana will be held in bucarest from
15 September to 5 October 2004. It is the first
time this major international gathering of postal
regulators, operators and postal stakeholders
meets in Eastern Europe.
The emergence
and use of advanced technology in the international
freight, express and parcel markets has forced
many postal operators to review investment and
business strategies along side customer demands
for reliable and value-added services.
